You want to keep track of everything you've posted on Facebook and a list of all your friends? Facebook has a feature for that.
Data backup on Facebook is not automatic. You must manually start the process for the service prepares an archive of your data.
This archive will contain:
- Photos or videos you've uploaded to Facebook
- Your publications, instant messages and conversations
- The name of friends and, in some cases, their email addresses
Once the archive is downloaded to your hard drive, you can open it to retrieve your data.
2-Create the backup of its data
- Log in to your Facebook account.
- Click on the small arrow to the right of the toolbar and then click Settings.
- Click the Download a copy of your data on Facebook.
- Click the Create button in my archive.
- Then click OK. Facebook will then prepare your archive with your data. Note that this may take several hours.
3-Download the Facebook archive
Once your archive ready, you will receive an email to alert you.
- Open the email received from Facebook and click on the link provided.
- Identify you.
- Enter your password and click OK.
- Click Download the archive.
- Click Save to download the file.
- Once the download is complete, click Open Folder. The ZIP file contains all your data.
